Manufacturing procedures
The
GB/T 9711.2 spiral welded steel pipe should be manufactured in the
following steps. Firstly, the steel belts or plates should be molded.
Secondly, the joint edging zone should be padded by metals and finally,
the joints should be welded.
Materials
The
GB/T 9711.2 spiral welded steel pipes made of L245NB, L290NB,L360NB,
L415NB, L360QB, L415QB, L485QB, L555QB, L245MB, L290MB, L360MB, L415MB,
L450MB, L485MB and L555MB steel types.
Technical specifications
The
maximum outer diameter of the GB/T 9711.2 spiral welded steel pipe is
3048 mm. The maximum wall thickness is 30 mm and the maximum length for a
single pipe reaches 20000 mm.
Applications
The GB/T 9711.2 spiral welded steel pipe is widely used in transferring combustible gas, including petroleum and natural gas.
